Use just one can of tuna (or replace it entirely) and combine that with canned chicken or cooked chicken breast cut into small pieces.Crunchy topping: Instead of Ritz crackers, try crushed potato chips or crispy fried onions.I don’t recommend using skim or low fat milk if going for a creamy mac and cheese dish, but I certainly won’t stop you! Meanwhile, blend next 3 ingredients in blender until smooth spoon 1/2 cup into 3-qt.Prepare Dinners in large saucepan as directed on package.Notes: Mac and Cheese Tuna Casserole, Ingredients 1 small Onion (1 cup), finely diced 2 boxes Macaroni and cheese, like Kraft 2 cans (5oz) Tuna in water, drained 1 ½ cups Frozen Bake until onions are brown and cheese is melted, another 5 minutes. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, then sprinkle French-fried onions over top. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Combine drained macaronis, peas, and tuna in a bowl.Stir in condensed soup and cook until heated through, about 3 minutes. Add milk and cheese sauce packet mix well. ![]() Melt butter in the same saucepan over medium heat.Drain macaroni, then rinse under cold water and drain again. Lay 1/2 of the butter across the bottom of a 2-quart, microwave-safe casserole. Mix cooked noodles with tuna, sour cream, 1/4 cup milk, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seasoned salt, salt, and pepper. Stir in macaroni from the box and cook for 7 minutes. Cook egg noodles at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, 7 to 9 minutes. Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan.Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
